Professor Gordana Adamova serves as the President of the National Perinatology Committee at the Ministry of Health. She is a consultant for the Centre for Continued Medical Education and a member of the Teaching Board of the Medical Faculty. Additionally, she holds a position on the editorial board of the Macedonian Medical Review and is actively involved in several international associations. These include her role as a member of the Executive Board of the Southeast European Society of Perinatal Medicine (SEESPM), as well as memberships in FIGO, EAGO, WAPM, and EAPM. Furthermore, she is the national coordinator for the Supervision Committee on Perinatal Mortality and presides over the Association for Perinatal Medicine of the Republic of Macedonia.
Professor Adamova’s research interests encompass perinatal medicine, focusing on improving outcomes in perinatal mortality and morbidity. She is particularly dedicated to advancing medical education in this field and contributing to international standards and practices in perinatal care.
